Autovista

Autovista is a new feature that allows you to virtually explore some of the game's most exotic and iconic cars.

While working at Turn 10 as an UI artist, one of my responsibilities was creating and animating vehicle "panels" in Forza Motorsport 4 Autovista mode (now referred to as Forzavista). Forzavista allows players to view precise details such as engine parts and interior gauges on a select number of cars. I worked closely with our Art Director, UI Lead and other UI Artists to complete the animations and graphics.

Digital Gauges

Animated startup sequences and in-game first-person functionality.

While working at Turn 10 as a UI artist, I was responsible for creating and animating digital gauges for Autovista mode, as well as in game. I would research a particular vehicle and digitally recreate the gauges. Then, I would export them with their appropriate alpha channels and apply them to the 3D model. I worked closely with other UI artists and developers to make sure the gauges functioned properly in game.
